Why RVs Make For Great Tailgate Experiences

With football season well underway, it’s easy to see what you need to make your tailgate perfect to finish up the season. By now, you know exactly what you need to make your tailgate rock. You’re back in the swing of things. You aren’t forgetting little things like you did the first couple of games. You’re an expert.

Sure, your tailgate is amazing… but there’s still one way it could be better: if you had an RV to bring to your tailgate.

When you travel to support your team, you aren’t just any fan — you’re a dedicated fan. With this in mind, RVs can make your traveling tailgate life a lot easier. For instance, if you have an RV, it is easier to prepare the best meals for your tailgate. You don’t have to stick to things that you made before you left home, or burgers and hotdogs that you cooked on your mini grill. With an RV, there are no limits to what you can make. Plus, most RVs also have a fridge and a freezer to keep things cold so you aren’t limited to what you can fit inside a cooler.

Some RVs even have outdoor televisions and kitchens, so you don’t have to go inside your RV to watch the game or cook food — you can do it all outside, in the atmosphere of the tailgate. If you weren’t able to score tickets to the game either, you can always watch the game on your RV’s television once it starts. RVs are also an excellent place to take shelter from the rain, if game day happens to be on a rainy day. Standing out in the rain can be a bummer, and tents can get heavy from the rain settling on them and result in spills, so having an RV to take shelter in can be nice.

Another huge benefit of having an RV for a tailgating is that you don’t have to use nasty porta potties. What’s more, you can also avoid lines at the public restrooms. Plus, you can actually wash your hands. It’s much more sanitary and convenient.

However, the best part about having an RV for a tailgating is that you don’t have to worry about having a designated driver to take you home. If you end up having too good of a time during the tailgate and at the game, you can always just sleep it off in your RV afterward (instead of driving home and risking an accident or a DWI.)

RVs are also more convenient because they free you from having to stay in hotels all the time. Instead of renting a hotel room every time you want to tailgate, you can just take your RV to the game. You can also store a lot of things that you need for your tailgate in your RV, so you don’t have to repack the car every time you want to go on a trip or unpack it when you get home.

Owning an RV makes for great tailgates and great experiences overall, but they also have plenty of other uses. With an RV, you can have great summer campouts or glorious holiday celebrations. Whether you’re going to the lake, a park, or just a parking lot for the tailgate, RVs can make everything much easier and more fun.
